About 3DNWorld
3DNWorld was developed and is maintained by David Kopp of 3DNature, along with help in content addition and editing from the rest of the 3DNature staff.We are using DreamHost as our hosting company, have been very pleased with their service so far, and highly recommend them.
Almost all the content on the site is stored in a MySQL database, and accessed using PHP functions and then rendered to your browser, using the latest in CSS and other web technologies.
The site was developed using only a text editor in a Linux shell on the DreamHost server, and was tested using the latest versions of the Mozilla and Netscape browsers. As such, it looks best when using them (version 1.0 or higher for Mozilla, version 6.0 or higher for Netscape).
Internet Explorer version 5.0 or above is a passable replacement for these browsers if you happen to already use it on your system and don't wish to upgrade.
Anyway, thanks for reading about the web geek part of this site... time to go see what 3DNature and 3DNWorld are all about!
